Exploring other options outside of floor nursing and need some advice. I want to work from home and thought this may be one option. Are you a nurse writer? How do you enjoy what you do? Who do you write for? What is the average pay? All suggestions are welcomed.

I am a nurse who also writes, but I barely make money out of it. I don't usually write about nursing though. I have had one book published and another book is due out next year. I would love to write full-time but it's a tough old business.
What genre do you enjoy the most? What are your books about?

Hi!
I have written for a newspaper and a Nursing magazine. The paper was the only one who paid. The magazine was just starting and did not pay a single dime. Although, of course my articles have been published by reputable sources and it adds to my credentials. I wrote mostly about Nursing stuff. If you're looking for experience or just an outlet to air your thoughts, you can try it out. But I tell you, it doesn't pay much.
Good luck! :)
Hi precious1, I write mostly memoir.
Good luck

I love to write, but definitely NOT about nursing! I do mostly humor, and did some writing for TheSpoof.com (think Onion) Although I haven't submitted anything for awhile, I'll be getting back to it soon...
