ARC/SCC ADN FALL 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi Everyone!!! I didn't see a thread for Fall 2019, so I figured I'd get the ball rolling. This is my first time applying to both SCC and ARC. I turned in my paper packets on 2/11 and 2/13. SCC updated my status to received this morning. I plan to also apply at Delta, but would really prefer acceptance at ARC or SCC.

I am so beyond grateful!! Thank you all for your response and congratulations.

Congrats ?

Since you will start in spring, think about taking pharm, dosage calculation, etc. Those classes that you can take in fall that can help you in spring RN

For those waiting for “qualified” from ARC still such as myself, I just received this email after inquiring about it.

“We are still processing applications - as soon as yours is done, your status will change. Notifications will go out via Los Rios Gmail - we are shooting for next week.”

Thank you for sharing! My status hasn't changed to qualified yet either. This gave me a little bit of hope!

Has anyone picked up their packet?? What is needed? I'm trying to get stuff ready, however I'm still waiting for ARC

What packet?

Specializes in RN.

To those who were accepted to scc ;

Has anyone picked up the admittance packet and know when orientation is ?

I applied to both the LVN to RN bridge programs at ARC and SCC. I qualified for both but was not selected in the random selection process. I got my ARC notice on April 6th and SCC notice on April 23rd. Congrats to all who got in and good luck!

You need 6months experience right?? How many people do they normally take in the LVN Rn bridge??

Yes you need minimum 6 months experience. I believe SCC takes 5. More depending on grant funding and if there are any students that do not pass the first year. One of my good friends got into ARC's LVN to RN last fall and there were 10 of them that got accpeted.

When i turned my app a week before ARC's deadline i was the 54th LVN to RN applicant. I turned my SCC application first thing on the the final day and was the 24th.

Oh I see, I was asking because I got accepted to the LVN program at scc, but I'm still waiting to hear back from ARC and delta, and if i dont get into arc im debating whether to stay local and do lvn or go to delta
