ARC/SCC ADN FALL 2019

Hi Everyone!!! I didn't see a thread for Fall 2019, so I figured I'd get the ball rolling. This is my first time applying to both SCC and ARC. I turned in my paper packets on 2/11 and 2/13. SCC updated my status to received this morning. I plan to also apply at Delta, but would really prefer acceptance at ARC or SCC. 

I don't really hear much about that program but I went ahead and applied as well. How many people normally apply?? I turned in my packet early so I was like #5

When I went to go talk to my counselor about this program, she said about 150. Normally they pick for fall and the following spring semester, but this time she said they are only picking for the fall semester because she said the lvn schooling is in the temp buildings. She said it was only for this fall though.

I applied to SCC's LVN program and I'm still anxiously waiting on an answer. When I applied on the 11th I was number 20 on the sign in sheet. When my friend applied in the third week she was number 37. Both of our application statuses have updated to "application received" as of 3/27. Before that I think it was "application submitted." Anyone else get an update of any kind?

Yes my application was updated on March 26. This upcoming week will be week 8 so I really hope we find out.

Pretty bummed to find out our chances just got cut in half if they’re only doing fall semester this time ?

@aleighlong How did you find out they are only doing fall? That's a bummer. I was at least hopefully if I didn't get fall, I would have a chance for spring. Darn.

Only the LVN program right, not the RN

I have no clue unfortunately, I’m just going off of what a previous poster on this thread said. I believe they were specifically speaking about the LVN program.

@winter7 I’m strictly going off a previous comment made on this thread regarding LVN being fall only. It’s news to me as well.

Yes just LVN. This is what my counselor at Sac City said about the LVN program for this year. I didn’t hear it officially.
