what were your numbers, the ones who got already an answer that your application was qualified. I’m wondering if they are doing in order of how people applied
Finally received an email today at 4:31pm that application is qualified.
I was # 342 when I turned in my application.

Thank you for the update, Alyssa. I can't say I am surprised. I will hold on to a little hope until we hear something official from ARC.
ARC is going to repeat the semester this fall so IDK how that will affect you guys but I’m sure it will. All their class this semester were just canceled.
sac state also held back 1-3 semester. They are only taking half the new students they usually do. SCC is moving on all their semesters.

The director told us yesterday during a meeting that they weren’t going to admit a new cohort in the fall because they needed to focus on current students. Maybe they will pull names for Spring semester in stead? It’s interesting that they’re qualifying students still!

Thank you for the information. It is incredibly disappointing to hear something like this on an unofficial thread of hopeful students prior to the school officially announcing it. Did the director happen to mention when they would notify the current applicants regarding this? Was there any talk of updating the ARC Nursing website?

WOW!!. Since they typically hold Spring app period as well this will be interesting if the delay this group. This is really impacting many programs. My prayer is that this will spark increased funding to public schools for programs such as nursing so class-cohort sizes can increase in the upcoming years.
All the CA nursing schools are dealing with changes daily and their top concern is current students. Some schools are weeks away from graduation and don't know if senior students will graduate on time. They probably don't want to say anything official until they are positive, and with changes constantly happening its probably hard to say anything for certain yet. Just a couple weeks ago ARC wasn't even gonna graduate 4th semester and now they are....

I can only imagine the stress and anxiety of current students whose progress is so in flux, especially fourth semester students who should be excited for graduation and possibly anxious about n-clex prep right now. Both groups want to move forward, but are stuck in limbo due to uncontrollable events. We all just need to exercise patience and provide grace to each other.

No, the meeting was to let current students know how we will proceed next semester, which is an unknown at this point. It wouldn’t make sense to admit another 1st semester cohort when they already have one. If they did then in the Spring we would have 5 cohorts, and we simply don’t have enough instructors or clinical spots for 5 cohorts.
I know it’s extremely upsetting for everyone. I had to wait 3 application cycles to finally get in and now have to repeat an entire semester. We are all looking for crumbs of info, in fact, I was stalking this thread and had hope for next semester when you all said your applications were being updated to qualified! I thought “there must be hope for us too!”
