I have not seen anyone created a thread for summer 2018 cohort, so i ll go ahead and start one. I just applied for summer 2018 cohort. anyone will be at the same boat ? can anyone share his/her experiences (*^_^*)
Hi everyone , has anyone recieved there welcome letters yet , and if you've recieved it do you know what "conditional admission"means? And does that say the same thing on your letters ?
Yes I received mine and I believe all of ours states the same thing. I'm assuming it means that you must sustain a certain grade point average to remain in the program, during a "probation period". Just like a job! And also that you pass your background check, and all overall capable of performing basic duties (medically cleared) to move forward with the program .
this is only my assumption, I wouldn't worry much about it I'm sure it'll be explained during orientation;)
The program is amazing and you'll learn so much. The curriculum is paced really well I thought. In the beginning you tart out every day and then as the semesters go by you're on campus less but you still have clinical days. It's 6 semesters in a row so it's tough but worth it in the end.

Hi there! Would you mind sharing a little bit more about the schedule? You indicated initially it was every day; is that a full 8-hour day? Are clinicals during the week or weekends? Would love to hear from you.
Thanks!

Hello All,
I have been accepted into the Summer 2018 cohort. I am coming from the San Francisco Bay Area and am in need of housing advice and/or housemates. I have been looking at housing in Victorville and San Bernardino areas, but am open to other suggestions.
I also heard from one of the Program Reps that our clinicals -- which start our 9th week -- begin in Victorville, but extend out into areas such as Palmdale, Riverside, and San Bernardino to complement/accommodate our specializations (ie pediatrics, oncology, ED, etc).
Anyway, any advice and insight is welcome.
Thanks!
