  1. I JUST logged in to my portal and instead of your application is "under review," it indicated "decision is ready!" I clicked on it and received the acceptance letter!!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
  2. Received an invitation to take the TEAS several weeks ago. Unfortunately, it ended up in my SPAM folder and I was only made aware upon reading on this forum. By that time, I had less than two weeks to study for the TEAS and take it prior to the deadline of May 21st. I crammed; I am blessed that I passed.
  3. The Nurse Practitioners I work with do not take calls, work M-F, 8 am to 5 pm. Salary range: $130k - $156K/year and they are not salary which means they get paid for overtime. It also depends on the specialty; NPs in other departments work 12-14 hr days/ M-F.
  4. Hi there! I called Admissions last Friday and she indicated that they will be sending out notification letters starting June 18th!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
  5. I also applied and I have not yet heard back. I just logged on and it still says "under review."
  6. Hi there! Would you mind sharing a little bit more about the schedule? You indicated initially it was every day; is that a full 8-hour day? Are clinicals during the week or weekends? Would love to hear from you. Thanks!
  7. I applied to the ADN program for this fall; thanks to your posts, I checked my Spam folder and discovered an email from yesterday to take the TEAS.
  8. Hi there! I am looking into the ADN Program as well. Would you mind sharing what the schedule is like? How many days/week/hours for lecture/clinicals. Thank you so much.
  9. Hi there! I am in my early 40's and I am almost done with my pre-requisites; nursing will be my second career. Our children are now young adults with one left in college, so I am now able to focus on my education goals. Despite the challenges of trying to balance full time work, school, and family, it has been quite fulfilling to get closer to my end goal. As others mentioned, it is just a number; you can do anything you put your mind to. You can do it! Good luck!
  10. For those who were accepted. I would love to hear your feedback, as well as an overview of the class and clinical schedule. Thank you!
  11. Hi Btk688. I am glad you posted this question. I get a headache each time I search the forum and reading all the posts about this issue. I will be done with my pre-requisities at UC/APU this December; the plan was to transfer to the LVN-BSN at APU. However, I was just recently notified that the curriculum changed where the classes are during the daytime. I was devastated and have been scrambling since as I need to work while in school. I hope someone from the current class chimes in to provide insight on class and clinical schedules.
  12. Hi there! I understand your post is a few months old and since there are no replies to your questions, may I ask if you could provide an update once you start the program? I am certain there are many of us who are interested and would benefit from your insight. Thank you in advance!
