APU LVN to BSN Spring 2021

Has anyone else applied for APU LVN to BSN program or is in the process of applying? I know the deadline is October 1st. I thought I'd start a forum.

Hi guys. My co-worker is an LVN and still has not received a call or an email either. This is her 4th time applying. I really wish you guys all the best.

Yes, I emailed asking on Monday and that is when I was called letting me know I was accepted to the High Desert, I’m relieved and excited I worked hard these last two years as I’m sure we all did our best! Best of luck to everyone and Congratulations ?

Yes, I meant if anyone has heard anything either way if they were accepted or not. My portal still hasn’t changed either. Good luck!

Who got into inland empire campus as well? Congrats to everyone!

I got in to the HD campus. SB was my first choice but that’s OK, as long as I got accepted, that’s what matters. Congrats to all who were accepted.

I read your post about your job not working with your school schedule. I too worked so hard to get into kaiser and they are refusing to work with my school schedule, I am pretty upset so I am going back to my old job. Congrats on your acceptance!!

I was almost in tears ?. My joy was taken from me when they told me this. So now I have to look for something else. It sucks. I’m doing this program. It took me 20 years to get here. I’m sorry Kaiser won’t work with you. They have in the past. I wonder why! My friend is going through this program and they are very flexible with her.

Honestly same here, I got the update yesterday from my boss when I was at work and I felt so discouraged finishing the rest of my shift. But like you I know work will always be there and this opportunity for school won’t. So let’s just be thankful we have a bigger opportunity to get that BSN, RN behind our names!

Amen to that! The beauty of it is that there is more to nursing than just Kaiser. So many opportunities out there for nurses. Other places are becoming more competitive.
