APU High Desert Program (Two plus Two)

U.S.A. California

Published

Hey there! I was looking to APU's high desert program for summer 2012. I know applications are due Feb 15. I know they have a lot of requirements and they only take in 20 students per application period (3 application cycles per year). I would like to apply but unfortunately I don't think I am competitive enough. The lady I talk to said 40 people qualified for spring and 20 people got in. So I guess is a 50/50 shot. I am thinking of applying just to try my luck.

So my question is...does anyone know about this program or got accepted? Is it good? What were your stats entering? Does the leadership and volunteer experience really worth much? Any and all answers to these questions will be extremely helpful!

Thanks!

So they don't have 2+2 in Azusa location? How is the total cost? Thx

Hello,

I know this thread is old, but I would like to know if anyone applied for fall 2014 and if so have you received an acceptance letter?

What is the cost for this program? Do you know if APU offer a similar program at their main campus?

Hi I just got accepted in the 2+2 program and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how is apu so far? What is the total tuition? Please and thanks!

Hi! I have also been accepted into the program and would really appreciate it if anyone can tell me how the program is! Such as how it is structured, tuition, if some material has to be self taught, etc. Thank You!

Hi did u get accepted for fall 2016?

I'm alternate 2 for Fall but I've been guaranteed admission for spring. I wanted to know how the program is before deciding to accept.

Oh ok, yea I'm not sure either all I know from others is that it is a great nursing school. I feel like every private school will have its pros and cons. Tuition is $60k ish for 24 months.

yea. I just haven't been able to find anyone that has gone to this program specifically so I can find out how it really is. Hopefully someone that has gone through the program will answer our questions.

Did you ever get in for fall 16' or are you going to be in the spring cohort? I applied for spring and just had my interview with Dr. Marquez. It went well but I'll be nervous until I hear something back.
