Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying to APU ELM program for Spring of 2019. I was just looking to connect to other applicants. I will be applying to the main campus. If anyone has any questions feel free to post, I have found the older forums from previous cohorts to be very helpful when looking for advice.

My first letter is coming today. I also signed up for USPS Informed Delivery!

I am very nervous because it is the first news from them! I haven't got any calls or emails from them before.

Did you get your letter in the mail? I'm still waiting to hear something as well!

Yes, I did! Unfortunately I did not get in;)

I did not get in too.

I'm sorry to hear that. Don't lose hope. Apply again! :)

That's ok I already accepted in Colorado Denver.

Has anyone from main campus heard about deposits? I haven't received anything except for two acceptance packages and a financial aid letter.

Me either, just received the big welcome packet and letter that they received my FASFA and to fill out another form that I received in my student email account.

One of the current ELM students has a blog that is a great resource. Here's the link Becoming Bri – Future NP

Yep! I got an email yesterday from Mr. Persad regarding deposit information and when it's due.

Does anyone know the estimated cost of tuition per year? I know the site has the overall total of the whole program cost and the financial aid office said grad students can borrow up to $20,500/year and that there's also the option of the Grad Plus loans. Since each semester varies in the amount of credit hours I'm curious if there's a significant difference in tuition fees per semester. I've only received information on first semester tuition costing $9,000 (not including books and uniforms ect.). Does anyone know if $20,500 per year will cover all the tuition?

It definitely will not. The whole year estimate just for tuition is around 37,000. I recommend you talk to your financial aid advisor. I'm taking the 20,500 and some of the grad plus what ever amount you decide to take you divide it by three For each semster, for example if you only take 20,500 you only get 6,833 each semster which wouldn't be enough to cover tution

Thanks! Wow that's a lot lol. Is there a limit on the grad plus loans?
