APU ELM Spring 2019

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of applying to APU ELM program for Spring of 2019. I was just looking to connect to other applicants. I will be applying to the main campus. If anyone has any questions feel free to post, I have found the older forums from previous cohorts to be very helpful when looking for advice.

I just printed out a paper application and mailed it with a check to the main campus. I also attached a note stating that I wanted to reuse my old documents (except my resume, I updated my resume).

Lol yeah Pomona is super dangerous. I actually signed a lease for on-campus housing which has key access to get into the building and an armed security guard lol but yes I am for sure turning down my APU spot, I'm so sold on western. I love that it's a small little community of graduate only health professionals. And downtown Pomona is super cute even though it's really dangerous.

I was told that for Fall 2018 they had 150 applicants for 20 spots at main campus so I'm wondering if Spring 2019 is around the same?

Thanks! I believe when I interviewed at SD they said they had 60-70 applicants for that campus but I don't think that includes people who applied to all campuses, so who knows how may applicants there are.

I just got an email.... I hope it means what I think it does "We wanted to let you know that we have updated your APU Network Account to reflect your status as an APU student." Did anyone else get this email?

Yes I actually got that email right now as wel, but I'm not sure what it means ??

I called to confirm and I got in! So I think everyone getting those auto emails like that means you got in.

I called to confirm but they said the advisor was gone. So I hope that means I got in? Lol

I received the email earlier this afternoon and also called to confirm. I was admitted to main campus! I was directed to my advisor too to get more details, however he did not answer. I'm assuming for now it's for Spring '19. I'm sure we will be getting further notifications for next steps. Congrats everyone!

Yes! I think it means you got in. The SD office was still there when I called so you could probably call them and have them confirm.

When I log in and go to student center, It says fall 2018. Does anyones else say that? or does yours say spring 2019? By the green dot under admissions
