just starting a forum thread so all applicants or future applicants can communicate with each other regarding the application.

I have applied to Azusa Pacific ELM program for Spring 2021 at the Inland Empire. I have not gotten an interview yet but hopefully soon, fingers crossed. Anyone gotten a response yet?

Do you mind going through briefly how your interview process went?

Sure! It was pretty mellow, just like a job interview. They asked the typical questions, why do you wana be a nurse, what are you best traits/qualities and goals, etc. but some questions I wasn’t expecting were, “have you ever be involved in an ethical situation and how did you react” And “how do you study and handle stress” so just be prepared for those kinds of questions. Then afterwards you just have to write a summary on a short simple nursing article. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Hi all. I applied for the SD campus and interviewed there a few weeks ago. I live several hours away but opted to drive and interview in person (they offer a virtual interview as well).

Overall I liked what I saw. My only gripe is the program won't start till Jan 2021 and other programs I applied for start sooner.

Hi everyone!

I interviewed in person for the Monrovia campus beginning of March but just found this forum. Does anyone know how heavily the interview is weighed on our admissions process? I believe 25 students are accepted for each location, does anyone know how many interviews are sent out? Thank you and best of luck to you all :)

Hi everyone!

I applied to the Azusa campus (with alternative location SD) on January 13th, received my interview invitation via phone on March 13th and I will be having my interview tomorrow, March 24th in the morning.

FYI all interviews have been changed to remote/virtual due to COVID-19 and the writing exercise will also be submitted online in the morning of interview. I will see tomorrow how it goes with this new circumstances and let you guys know.

Has anyone else received an online interview recently?

@Ella_Jo I just finished my interview. My interviewer's name was ————- and she was super nice and friendly. She actually asked me lots of questions ( it took about 30 minutes) but it was more conversational and casual because they know we are obviously not nurses and have different backgrounds. The only thing is that she didn't ask me to send the pre-admission form. did you interviewer ask you?

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing good and is safe out there. I know it’s unlikely due to what is currently happening, but I wanted to see if anyone got any updates on interviews, decisions, etc. I know APU was conducting their in-person interviews the first week of March. I am not sure what is happening now...
