This is a forum for those who applied to APU ELM Fall 2021 program! I applied to the main campus.

Just received an email to schedule an online interview - anyone else?

No, I don't mind at all! My stats were super bad compared to a lot of people who got accepted in the earlier forums for other cohorts - I was basically the worst student ever in undergrad.

My undergrad GPA was like 2.8ish and I took a few years to retake all of my prereqs at CC and got As in all of them - science and nonscience, but I still have to take research methods and my lifespan class is in progress RN. I didn't have any volunteer or shadowing experience. My only healthcare experience was as a medical assistant in an oncology practice and I also have my phlebotomy license! Before I decided on nursing, I was a behavioral therapist and worked with autistic kids. I definitely did not think this would be enough but I tried anyway.

Thanks for sharing! My GPA isn't that great either so that is reassuring! I also worked as a behavioral tech and I'm a phlebotomist as well! We have a lot of similarities! I hope I hear some good news as well. Congrats again!

I can't stop myself from refreshing the application portal ? Come on main campus - get your act together and release the decisions!

I am totally feeling your pain! Inland empire campus has not released anything yet. My portal still showing the 100% sign. I can’t help saying to myself “ that’s right 100% accepted” to get the universe on my side ?.

I don't mind! I literally submitted my application at the last minute possible. I believe probably the night it was due? I had my interview a week later on the following Friday.

Has anyone else that applied to SD campus heard back for acceptances, waitlists or rejections yet? I’m still waiting for my letter...

I haven’t heard back yet. I keep refreshing my portal but no updates yet. Hoping for some good news! ??

I'm still waiting to hear from SD campus, I am tempted to call. I want to know already. eeeekkkk.

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this chat, really glad I found it because I have been dying to know how everything is going for everyone else haha. I submitted my application end of August, had my interview mid October, and received the post interview form from Anthony on December 1st. I am so anxious to hear back! My interviewer said that we should hear definitely here back before Christmas. Has anyone been notified of their admission status yet?
