Hello,
This is a forum for those who applied to APU ELM Fall 2021 program! I applied to the main campus.
Just received an email to schedule an online interview - anyone else?
Does anyone get post-interview blues? I just had my interview today and although the interviewer was nice and chill, I feel like my nervousness really showed and I rambled on a couple questions ? I was able to answer all the questions, though, and had some of my own questions answered. I don't know, it lasted a little under 30 minutes. Was anybody else's interview about that long too?

Mine was really short! Like 20 minutes. But yeah after my interview, I felt like I was going to be rejected right then and there LOL. But I’m trying to stay positive ?
I feel the exact same way! Mine was about 30 minutes and I feel like I could have given more strong answers rather than regular responses. I felt like my interviewer (although very sweet woman) was just not impressed. I also couldn’t think of any other questions to ask other than 2 and it could have come off as disinterested. Oh well tried our best , trying not to dwell on it too much. Hoping the best for us, what is meant to be, will be ❤️
Yeah, just had mine’s on Tuesday! It went well. I think about 45 minutes to an hour. But, I asked questions at the end. No writing prompt. I was nervous in the beginning, but confident towards the end! I wished I started stronger, but I’ll get better with time. Good luck to everyone! I think we’re supposed to hear back next month or so.

Yea it's best to stay positive and hopeful! I like to think of it as good experience and that we just survived! Interviews are nerve-wracking in general ? which campus did you interview for?

Having questions is better than no questions though! And you're right, what is meant to be, will be. Just grateful it happened and that we were given the opportunity to interview ?

I'm gad it went well for you! Did you apply to the main campus? I did and was not given a writing prompt as well. Interviewer told me that decisions will be made before Christmas!
I feel the same way about the interview but my interviewer was super nice! I feel like our conversation was a good 15mins though and the rest was just about the program, the writing prompt and if I had any questions. In total it was about 30 mins and then I had another 25ish mins for the writing prompt. Which it seems like I was the only one that had one? ? my interview was a few days after the deadline so maybe they got rid of the prompt for everyone else but I’m not sure. Just trying to stay positive until Dec!

That's reassuring! Did you have a writing prompt?
