APU ELM Fall 2022

Hi everyone! 

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2022 program. I thought this would be a great way to convene and see where everyone is at in process as well as share helpful tips for interviews.

Actually.. the BSN is awarded after/during semester 4 - after you complete clinical rotation, inpreparation for the NCLEX, the MSN is awarded after Advanced clinical completion and RN NCLEX ( completion of prelicensure portion of program) .. the NP depending on specialty chosen is given after 2- 5 years from start date of program ( successful completion)...and a friendly reminder the lowest grade you can achieve is a B in classes. 

Thank you for the information! Where did you find this information? Because I tried asking the reps but they weren't able to give me many details like you did ?

The ELM website and I confirmed during the interview process..

I needed to know the deadlines since I wanted to work still but the interviewer broke it down to the program being full time study and you need to obtain a B in classes ...I was like I need 2 jobs to save more $$$ now, which I've been doing more OT at my current job..

If accepted, are you guys going through with the entire program? 

From talking to recent graduates of the program, she mentioned that half of her cohort dropped after they received their BSN ?

I'm planning to complete it, if I'm accepted.

Hi Everyone, just an FYI. I think they’ve sent out decisions! I got mine yesterday for the SD Campus. I was accepted into the program!?

Just received a call for my acceptance this morning to the SD campus! ? Finally!

For those whose first choice is IE, I was told by a representative that decisions will be sent out by the end of this week

Thanks for the update! I applied for the IE campus and haven’t heard back yet.

I GOT ACCEPTED TO THE MONROVIA CAMPUS! I just received a call and they said I will receive an email with the acceptance letter today. I also checked the application  portal and it has my acceptance letter there as well! SO EXCITED!
