APU ELM Fall 2018

Hello Everyone :)

I am looking to apply for the Fall 2018 ELM program at APU. I'll be done with my bachelors early 2018 and finishing up Organic Chemistry before I submit my application. I'm making this post to see where other people are at looking to apply and we all can help each other out if needed. Good luck to everyone :)

I called back, again. Spoke to the program representative Will and he said final decisions will be out within 3-4 weeks. I asked about hearing back about an interview, since I am yet to receive a call for one, and he said that they are still reviewing applicants and that's it's heavily impacted and only qualified applicants get an interview... I have a feeling I'm not getting an interview. :(

Do not give up. I am sure it is just taking time for them to review all applications. You have gotten this far on your journey. Be faithful! I am wishing everyone the best with interviews coming up. I have my interview in San Diego Wednesday!

Hi Everyone! For those who are in San Diego, is anyone talking the research methods class in the Spring at SD community colleges? Just curious if anyone else has registered for the class to take in case they get into the program. Thanks and good luck everyone with interviews/ waiting.

Hi, does anyone know how many applicants there were this cycle? When I talked to the professor who interviewed me, she stated there were 160ish applicants this cycle. Does anyone know if this number was just for Azusa campus or between all three campuses? Thanks! :)

Hi everyone!

I submitted my applications a long time ago (I can't even remember when) but I got a call sometime last week to schedule an interview! My interviews tomorrow and I am beyond nervous! Reading all of your comments though has put me somewhat at ease. I'll keep you guys updated on how the interview goes!

I thought it was pretty relaxed, they really just want to get to know you as a person..i was more stressed over the essay but that was simple

I called to do a follow-up yesterday for the San Diego office, and with a lot of emphasis on HOPEFULLY, they are finishing up interviews this week with hopes of meeting next week to review and announcing who got accepted before Christmas. It's the goal but if anything pops up where they can't meet they will let us know after winter break.
