APU ELM Fall 2018

Published

Hello Everyone :)

I am looking to apply for the Fall 2018 ELM program at APU. I'll be done with my bachelors early 2018 and finishing up Organic Chemistry before I submit my application. I'm making this post to see where other people are at looking to apply and we all can help each other out if needed. Good luck to everyone :)

hey @Futurenurse289 by any chance did you call the main campus ? and if so did they give you any new info regarding interviews? I also applied to main campus but have not received an interview yet. Thanks

I had my interview yesterday too! It was very friendly, and very conversational. The questions that were asked were spur of the moment conversational questions, and they were as @cheriex3 stated. Overall, very nervous if I made an impression, but good luck to everyone! :)

They said the committee will meet on 12/12 to discuss the acceptance! :)

I would call Anthony Persad! His phone number is on the contact page of the APU ELM page! :)

I heard SD is quicker on deciding things, then the main campus and SB is slowest :\

I just put healthcare related stuff on my resume

Hi all! I'm new to this forum. I applied for the ELMSN FNP program at Azusa for Fall 2018. I have an interview on December 5. Does anyone happen to know what interview questions they ask you?

@SomedayFNP

I interviewed at the SD site and they asked basic interview questions like why did you choose to apply to APU? And Why do you want to be a nurse? They also asked like 5 more character type questions but I don't recall exactly what they were. They were types of questions like how would you handle a conflict or what would do if someone doesn't like you. Stuff like that, but it might be a bit different when you do it. My interviewer had two pages full of questions that they picked out of random from. Either way I would not sweat it, just be yourself and you will be fine. Good luck!

I had interview at SD campus and they asked only a few questions. how do you handle stress and do you know any NP? that's it. it was very casual and fun.

I have my interview scheduled for the 6th of December. How was it?

Congrats! How was it? I have mine on the 6th of December, and I am super nervous!

I called the main campus admissions and Anthony Persad and got no answer. I left a voicemail with both. I didn't receive a call back. I am really nervous. I have a decent GPA, and over 400 of hands on clinical experience. I really hope I get an interview soon...

@Melphor

Thank you!! I'm so nervous!
