APU ELM Fall 2018

Hello Everyone :)

I am looking to apply for the Fall 2018 ELM program at APU. I'll be done with my bachelors early 2018 and finishing up Organic Chemistry before I submit my application. I'm making this post to see where other people are at looking to apply and we all can help each other out if needed. Good luck to everyone :)

I've been in contact with program representative via email and phone. I'd selected elm-msn with emphasis in FNP if that is what you'd like to specialize in.

Hi everyone!

I'm currently working on my letter to the dean. Is there a specific format you followed, or did you write in a single spaced letter format? Any tips will help, thanks!!

I did single space letter format with all deans info on the top left corner and addressed the letter to the dean of ELM nursing program.

You might want to ask... because when I did ask, they told me double spaced. Let me know if this is true?

Hi Everyone!

I also applied to the ELM program for Fall 2018. This is my second attempt. I applied for Summer 2018 but I had issues with my transcripts, so my application was denied. I hope this time around, it goes well for me. My first choice is Azusa then if I get an interview, I'm going to let them know that I'm willing to go to any campus. I don't have any nursing experience except that I've been a caregiver and I've worked in a residential facility. I recently started a CNA program with the hopes that it will make my application stand out. Best of luck to everyone.

Hello, I applied for Summer 2018 and when I asked about the letter to the dean, they did tell me it had to be double-spaced.

Just curious... some of you guys are saying you guys see some green circle on your application page... Where is this?

I also double spaced my essay if that helps anyone.

I didn't double space my letter and it was two pages and in an essay format rather than an actual letter. I went to the open house in SD back in August and they said it can be in either format but I don't remember if they said it had to be double spaced.. I got a call yesterday for an interview next week. So wish me luck and to anyone else who got a call I wish you the best of luck as well!

I have been in contact with the school since August and have been submitting my application in pieces since than and submitted my final transcript about two weeks ago.
