Awww no! I had a similar problem last time I applied. I applied for Summer 2018 and I did a summer abroad program and those transcripts didn't arrive until a month later after the deadline. I didn't get no interview and my application was denied. I really hope the department doesn't do this to you. I was really upset because prior to the deadline I kept asking the admissions department what exactly I was missing because my application was incomplete and they would respond but they would avoid my questions. I had to keep insisting until they finally told me exactly what I was missing. I was so disappointed with the whole process. This time around I tried confirming with the department if my application was complete by the deadline and I know I did submit everything on time but I got an email after the deadline that my application was complete. I simply wanted to know if everything was complete by the deadline and they couldn't even answer my question. I've had no luck with the admissions department. From what I've read from other forums, other applicants receive better responses from the admissions department. Also, I was looking through APU elm fall 2017 forum and many applicants had interviews after Thanksgiving up until the first two weeks of December. So, let's not lose hope. The admissions department has told me in the past that some people don't get an interview but still get in but I honestly think they're not being honest. If you look through other forums - many applicants have stated that you need the interview because APU has a grade point system. Also, all applicants have also done a writing prompt.

Hi Everyone! I also applied to the ELM program for Fall 2018. This is my second attempt. I applied for Summer 2018 but I had issues with my transcripts, so my application was denied. I hope this time around, it goes well for me. My first choice is Azusa then if I get an interview, I'm going to let them know that I'm willing to go to any campus. I don't have any nursing experience except that I've been a caregiver and I've worked in a residential facility. I recently started a CNA program with the hopes that it will make my application stand out. Best of luck to everyone.

Hey everyone! I got a letter from APU today stating that I had been denied admission to the program. I'm a bit bummed out but I also figured I'd get denied - I had so many issues with my transcripts and my application wasn't complete until July 20th. Anyway, this means all of you should be hearing something soon. Best of luck and congratulations on getting accepted to the program. I'm going to reapply for Fall 2018.

Hi Everyone! I'm hoping someone has gone through this and possibly may give me some insight. I submitted my application for Summer 2018 and I was confident that everything was submitted on time. There was a lot of issues with my application. Apparently the school didn't receive all of my transcripts and letters of recommendations. It took me two weeks to resubmit everything and therefore my application was very late. The representative informed me that my application would probably be considered for Summer 2018 or perhaps may be hold back and be reviewed for the Fall 2018 semester. I haven't received a call for an interview so I'm assuming that I probably didn't get in. I called the school but their answer is that - they're still reviewing applications. Hope someone can share their experience. Thanks!

I took Chemistry 115 - Chemistry for the health sciences. It's not an organic/biochem class but rather intro to chemistry. I confirmed that this class is acceptable for the grad program. It's a 8 week class and it's intense. This was the only class where I had a really hard time with. I'm not sure if its the same for every chemistry class but the professor - Every week he assigned readings from the book, 1 lab, lab quiz, discussion and review quiz. Its a lot of work but it's easy to get the full points. The lab quizzes and review quizzes aren't timed and you can take them as many times as you want therefore you can get full points. The lab quizzes and review quizzes questions do change every time you try a new attempt. There's also a midterm and final - they're about 100-150 questions and you only get one attempt but they aren't timed. I hope this helps!

Hey! I would recommend taking that anatomy class again since you got a C letter grade. Yes, you can apply to the program while still taking your prerequisites. I can't recall how many you must at least have completed by the time you apply. I really recommend you contact the school. The program representatives can really assist you with all your questions. I met up with one the program representative a year ago and he gave me the break down of the program and handed me this packet with useful information. Also, APU offers informational meetings about the ELM program. Best of luck! I recently applied for the Summer 2018 term. I'm just waiting now.

When I spoke to one of their representative about a year ago - he informed me that it was approximately 18 months/4 semesters. So, I'm assuming that it would be one year (fall, spring, summer) and one more term. So, let's say you begin Summer 2018, I'm assuming that you would be done by the end of Summer 2019.
