APU ELM Fall 2018

Hello Everyone :)

I am looking to apply for the Fall 2018 ELM program at APU. I'll be done with my bachelors early 2018 and finishing up Organic Chemistry before I submit my application. I'm making this post to see where other people are at looking to apply and we all can help each other out if needed. Good luck to everyone :)

Hey guys! just had a quick question for anyone who's submitted their application already. Did you include a full resume including work experience not related to the medical field? I ask because I have never worked in a hospital, but was considering of describing my various volunteer experience as a statement of experience or brief resume? Thanks

Yes, include any work experience that would showcase your abilities..I did marketing and included it

Hi @doctav! I would personally add EVERYTHING because they look at your application holistically. If you were working during school, or if you have customer service related jobs, they would want to know. I think in this case, more would be better than less.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I submitted my application a few days ago and received a login. When I look there is a green circle and says application complete. Does anyone know if these means they received all my documents (transcripts and letters of recommendations) ?

I am applying to the Azusa campus... but I am debating about the San Diego one as well. Location doesn't really matter to me.

I have a question regarding Recommendation letters... did you guys have the references send their documents directly to the campus? or what is the protocol here? Tnx a bunch!

My recommenders either emailed or mailed directly to the information given on the form.

Hey guys, I'm ready to turn in my app but i'm confused on the "program" selection.. do I choose ELMSN or ELM-MSN: FNP? Thanks!
