Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

Hello, future RNs!

This is a thread for the APU 2+2 BSN program Spring 2022 admissions.

I'm finishing up my application for APU's LVN to BSN program. I wanted to start a thread for this topic and connect with others applying to APU by the October 1st, 2021 deadline.

Good luck to everyone!

I ordered mine too big,and accidentally found this store with our school emboldens from this store, since it’s left over ones, they are flexible with price negotiation,I also get a lab coat and ask them to add school logo

Hey have you gotten a valid access code? For the books

Does anyone who got accepted into Azusa 2+2 have advice on the resume? I saw it said only last three years of work and volunteer experience. I had direct patient care that was past 3 years including obtaining a pharmacy tech/medical assistant license. I currently work as a front office MA should I include past 3 years? Did anyone else do that? Or would anyone be willing to share what they used to build their resume?

Honestly you should put it! Put anything that is relative to healthcare. I had a lot of gap years in between jobs but I still listed last 3 jobs I had even if it was more than 3 years. For my resume,I put my objective as a nursing student. I can’t remember what website I used to build my resume.

Thank you! I was going to but I wasn't sure if they would be like she can't follow directions past 3 years (next!) I am using that website now

Thank you!

No problem mine dated back from 2014! LOL

I know this is an old thread and some of you may have already been accepted, but curious I asked my admission advisor how many people get accepted and he said this

Hi Adriana,

There's 30 available spots per cohort so about 10 students are admitted per location

Does that sound right to y'all? 10 people per location? Like I'm in shock, thought it was maybe 20 per location

Hey, no that’s not right. There’s about 30 people in my class. I’m at the HD campus

Okay thank you! I feel my advisor gives me some misinformation sometimes, I'm like 10! Are you kidding me! But that sounds more like it, even 20 would sound like it

Your welcome!? yeah 10 is crazy, no one would barely stand a chance LOL. Good luck! Hope you get accepted.

Awkwardly I reached out to another advisor and now my advisor messaged me again

Hi Adriana,

My colleague, (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), reached out to me and let me know that you were wondering how many students are admitted into the Upper Division Transfer Nursing program per semester. The total number of Upper Division Transfer Nursing students will be 30 per semester.

So it's 30 hahaha
