Sep 3, 20214 yr Hello, future RNs! This is a thread for the APU 2+2 BSN program Spring 2022 admissions. I'm finishing up my application for APU's LVN to BSN program. I wanted to start a thread for this topic and connect with others applying to APU by the October 1st, 2021 deadline. Good luck to everyone!
Sep 15, 20214 yr I applied for APU 2+2 program Spring 2022 admission. I'm so nervous now. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.94, and a science GPA of 4.0. Hopefully we all can get into APU nursing program.
Sep 15, 20214 yr Author Hi Bobcat, you have stellar GPAs! I'm sure you'll get in. Are you an LVN, or are you applying as a transfer? My cumulative GPA is 3.41, and my science GPA is 3.95. My LVN school GPA was 3.94, so I hope they consider that.
Sep 15, 20214 yr Hi there! I'm applying as a transfer. Since you are working, I reckon that they will consider your LVN experience. I'm not sure if they will review all the files after October 1st.
Sep 15, 20214 yr Author My rep. said they won't send the applications over to the admissions committee until the Oct. 1st deadline. After that, they review them all together. So we won't know anything until November. The wait is going to feel like forever! Which campus did you apply to?

Oct 2, 20214 yr Hello everyone, I applied for Spring 2022 too. I applied to 15 programs, a lot of them on the lottery system. I already got denial for PCC and LACCNAH My stat is science GPA 4.0, cumulative GPA 3.96, I have a pretty low TEAS, I guess my chance of other schools is not high, APU is my first choice. Hopefully, we all will hear good news in December.

Oct 5, 20214 yr Has anyone heard either good or bad things about the APU BSN program? How is APU's student support and strictness of grading compared to other community college ADN programs? Is there a student program completion statistics anywhere? I've already gotten into an ADN program, but is it worth taking the APU's BSN program instead (if I do get in) for better support to complete the program? Isn't better student support reasonable expectation since tuition is much higher? Love to get anyone's thoughts on this. Thanks!
