Hello, future RNs!

This is a thread for the APU 2+2 BSN program Spring 2022 admissions.

I'm finishing up my application for APU's LVN to BSN program. I wanted to start a thread for this topic and connect with others applying to APU by the October 1st, 2021 deadline.

Good luck to everyone!

Sadly no, I asked him to clarify he said its 10 per location, total of 30 in all 3 locations, he said its a mix of different programs that gives 30, so crazy ?

They take different range of people. Just make sure to write a good personal statement!

Great Thanks! I think I wrote a good one, fingers crossed its enough.

Thank you all for the help! And good luck!

I don't know if this is feasible, but retake classes for a higher GPA.. I took this route and I like to believe it helped.. I did get into the program the 2nd time I applied.

That is not a bad idea, but sadly I paid $2200 a class taking all my sciences at National University in order to apply sooner since they offered 8 week classes ? Luckily I was able to pay out of pocket but all the sciences was defffff a little pricey LOL. I am sooooo HAPPY you got in though! I will re-try if I don't get in my first time ?

Me too, I went to SCUHS, for 4 week science classes; but didn't get in so, I just retook some classes @ community college to improve the GPA..

Oh okay, I’ll see I don’t think my GPA is terrible but hoping my essay, resume and references help, if not I’ll tweak those and re apply ?

Sounds like a plan to ?

Does anyone know of LPN to RN online programs that do not have time cap on previously taken science courses????

I could not find any, a previous counselor  reported the timeframe was determined by the CA RN Boards; maybe look at out of state schools?, but I don't know how you would complete the clinical portion in state..
