Hello, future RNs!
This is a thread for the APU 2+2 BSN program Spring 2022 admissions.
I'm finishing up my application for APU's LVN to BSN program. I wanted to start a thread for this topic and connect with others applying to APU by the October 1st, 2021 deadline.
Good luck to everyone!

I agree! 2020 I got accepted twice to two schools I failed the TEAS. I applied to APU for fall 2021 & got denied, I applied again for Spring 2022 & by the grace of God I got accepted. Do not give it.?? Always trust the process ?

I know they have nursing scholarship at APU that you can apply..I'd ask about those
I asked. I'm not sure if it's my financial aid lady but she's not really helpful. She told me nope there's none LOL
I was going to try my credit union too.. I heard horrible reviews about Sallie Mae. My first year is covered with federal loans and FAFSA but it's my last year that im like I may need to. So was wondering if anyone had any experiences with private loans.
Does your package include work study? I'd ask about that route thru APU..The issue with private loans is they are some may not be federally covered ie may not provide grace period, have have a varied/ high APR, not be income- dependent payments etc... try a credit union or ASK APU IF they can set- you up on a pay schedule that can offload a private loan..

I will add the work study for my FAFSA application to help a bit.
Yes thats what I'm scared of! My credit union has a good one but I just want to be prepared incase I do need one!
