applying to VA hospital as RN, do u have to be a graduate of National league of nursi

Published

Im interested in the VA hospital, but my school was not accredited with the national league of nursing, but is accredited by the CA Board of Registered of nursing, Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. I graduated with an associate's degree. Does the VA only accept RNs from school that is NLN accredited? i appreciate any response :)

If you search or ask in the Military section, someone will have an answer. Just the day before yesterday I read some information on that, but I am not 100% sure of the specifics.

I think yes, it was only NLN schools, but I was looking for info on the Army Nurse Corps, so I may have gotten my info mixed up.

The application I got didn't say anything about NLN requirements. I too am graduating from a school that is not accredited with NLN. They just said I needed a associate's degree. They seem eager to hire me, so I htink you're fine.

My application packet did not say that either. It says only ASN, BSN, or MSN.
