Applying to UC Denver for Summer 2015

Hey everyone,

I just submitted my application to the traditional BSN program at UC Denver and I thought it might be useful to get a thread going. I am super nervous and excited about the process! How are others feeling?

I read that the interview dates are tentatively scheduled for November 15th...does anyone know when we should expect to hear if get invited for the interview?

Got my interview invite but the email doesn't specify an interview time. I know in the past years they assigned applicants specific interview times. Does anyone know if we'll be given specific times or will everyone have to be there the entire day?

They said they will send more detailed information about the day the week of Nov. 10th.

Any thoughts on the "exercises" they will have us be doing on interview day?

Happy that I found this forum! I also am trying to figure out how to prepare for the interview. I looked through past forums for questions others can been asked, I thought it is a good place to start. What are you all doing to prepare?

Looking forward to the day! Sounds like it is going to be fun. Also very nervous - but I think that is to be expected.

I got a hold of someone who attended the interview previously. She has told me that any information she would have would actually do us more harm over having us just walk in there and be confident with ourselves. That said, anyone up for Saturday night rendez vous?

Hello All!

I am so glad I found this forum!! Congrats to everyone! I too received an invitation to interview on Nov. 17th and haven't received an information email either. I am super nervous! Last spring I did actually interview for the INP program through CCD and CCA, unfortunately I did not get in- but who knows second time's a charm right?! I can tell you that the questions that I can remember are 1.) Tell me something unique about yourself? 2.) How would you handle a difficult situation? and 3.) Why should we choose you? They did give the group an "assignment" and gave us 30 minutes to complete, just to see how well we work together as a team. Now this time around may be different since it is straight through the University I don't know but hopefully this helps some! I am looking forward to meeting you all soon!! :)
