are you applying for Spring 2014?

Hi future nurses!

Anyone here applying for Spring 2014? I'm from SoCal (Los Angeles area). I applied at LA County, LACC, Pasadena, LA Trade Tech. I've already taken the TEAS V and passed it. I've heard from LA Trade and said that Sping 2014 is already closed. :( But I sent them my TEAS anyways in hope that they still have a spot for Spring 2014. I'm still waiting for PAsadena and LA County. I have an appt with the counselor at LACC to evaluate my transcripts and TEAS score. Ugh! this wait is killing me...anyone who is feeling the same way with me??? :unsure: Where did you apply? how's your GPA? Mine is 3.5 (I think!)...I'm just an average student :smug:

Post something when you hear back so I can get excited to hear back too!!! lol

Just El Camino? I thought Spring 2014 is closed already? I mean they already selected students for spring? My coworker said he got in already for spring 2014. He also said that he is currently taking Micro. So does el camino take you in even if you have 1 class in progress? Im confused... Goodluck to you as well!
Yes just el camino. The deadline for spring semester is October 7 and there is no way your fiend could've got accepted already since they haven't even sent TEAS test dates yet. The obvious reason why he's lying is by saying that he has micro in progress. There is no such thing as having one of the science classes in progress as they count towards your science G.P.A. That's a lie

This waiting has me so anxious! I applied to LACC, LAVC, COC, LA Allied, Glendale and Pierce. I took my Teas with Pierce early Sept. LACC had the most tedious application process. I guess that's good, weeds out a few. Unfortunately I left out a number from my student id on my COC application. That alone disqualified me. :/ So now I'm just waiting on the 5 other schools.

Im a CNA at LAC USC (county hospital). That's why I wanna get into the county school so I can save up money . But if I dont get in, that's ok. I know God has good plans for me and for us future nurses. I have a 3 year old boy and husband who is very supportive. Hopefully we both get in somewhere, right? ☺

I really should subscribe to threads because I'm horrible and rechecking messages! :no: Anyway, that is wonderful that you work for county already, I'm sure your experience is worth its weight in gold! I have a little one as well; it's nice to have a supportive unit when going through all of this. :) I'm sure you will get in somewhere for Spring 2014, because you're right - God always has plans for us! Hi, have you heard anything from PCC yet? Do you know around what dates they might respond with accept/declination emails? Is it after everyone gets their teas scores in? Thanks so much.

I havent heard from PCC. When do they mail out the letter?

I think around 22nd-27th of November. That's why I was wondering if they accepted anyone officially yet, or if they're waiting until everyone's teas scores are in, including the people who still have to take it. Then from there I think it's a lottery system, not positive though.

I applied to ELAC and LA county/Allied Health. I received both acceptance letters the first 2 week of november. I just wanted to post just in case anyone was wondering about when the letters would be out. Goodluck to everyone and see you at pre-registration. :)
