Applying Spring '15 at Baton Rouge Community College

Hello everyone!! I attend BRCC, and I'm applying to the nursing program this Spring '15. I would love to hear from other students that are applying. I've taken all of my pre reqs at BRCC. My GPA is 3.5 and I'm taking the Hesi in March.

Hi I'm taking mine tomorrow! I'm so nervous! I currently have a 3.5 as well, but I'm in A&P now(praying I have at least an A or B). Good luck to us!

Good luck on your Hesi tomorrow. I took mine yesterday. As long as you really study A&P, I'm sure you'll get your A or B.

Yes! There's a calculator on the computer screen. You really need to focus on conversions, proportions, ratios and fractions.

I passed it with a 88. Wish it was higher though.

That's still a really good score. I passed with a 86.5. I'm so nervous right now.

I got an 88% on my hesi too!! If you dont mind me asking, what is your GPA and how many classes did you take at BRCC?? I talked to my advisor and she said an 88 is really good! She also said they mainly look at your GPA and how many classes taken at BRCC! Good luck to both of you. I pray we all get in and we will get to meet each other at orientation.

I know I'm sooo nervous! I guess because everyone in my A&P class is saying they scored in the 90s. My G.P.A is currently a 3.5 but I'm still in A&P 1. I have taken all of my prequsites at BRCC. I'm praying for us all. We got this! I seen on a few threads in 2013 lowest gpa was 3.1 and hesi ?? 2014 the lowest G.P.A accepted was a 3.13 and a hesi score of 85.
