Applying Spring '15 at Baton Rouge Community College

Hello everyone!! I attend BRCC, and I'm applying to the nursing program this Spring '15. I would love to hear from other students that are applying. I've taken all of my pre reqs at BRCC. My GPA is 3.5 and I'm taking the Hesi in March.

Oh my gosh I KNOW!!! EVERYONE in my a&p has 90's too! It's so overwhelming. I feel like crying everytime someone else says "I got a 93, 94, 96". & I studied harder than anyone. They started studying a few days before the test. I've been studying for months. I'm just believing God at this point. That's all I can do. He didn't bring me this far to drop me.

Yes believe in God!! That's the best thing to do.. And know that everything happens for a reason. I'm praying for all of us as well.. WE WILL GET IN.. I'M CLAIMING IT FOR ALL OF US!!

Yes I will see yall at orientation. We are just going to say that. With prayer everything is possible. We all great GPAs and scores. There are a few people who actually paid to take the test and didn't take it.

Yes I know. I had people in my group that didn't show up.

I wish we could find out what the average score for the hesi was, since everyone has taken it now. My class average was a 79. I think the lower the average is, the better of a chance we have. But with all the people telling me they got such high scores makes me think the average will be high. I just hope my GPA and classes taken at brcc will carry me over the people with super high hesi scores.

Then I wonder how they will pick who gets to start in August and who starts in January? That's another hurdle we have to get over. If I can't start until January that puts me behind a whole extra year of graduating.

I think my class average was a 79. I seen that the scores were lower than they were last year, especially in math.

June is getting so close. 4 more weeks!! I can't wait to see you guys at orientation 😃😃
