Applying to Piedmont Hospital

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

I applied to the New Grad program at Piedmont. One of my applications says application filed not hired. SO does that mean I am not being considered for the position. Has anyone seen this before?:(

Hello Cornpooh,

I too have an interview with Piedmont Hospital. Did the interviewers ask for any specific documents, such as letters of recommendation or college transcripts? I know that it is necessary to bring a BLS for healthcare providers card. Did you just have the one interview with the 4 person panel, or was it a series of interviews? How long did the interview last? And advise or words of wisdom would be most appreciated. Best wishes for your future career!

You do not have to bring any of that info with you for the interview. The interview is with the educators and clinical managers. If they decide that you will work well on their team and they want you then they forward you to HR when the offer is made. HR is is who you have to provide your BLS info to.

It was one interview that lasted 35 minutes with all four of them at once. I got there 10-15 minutes early and they took me then. Do some research on the unit before hand and know why it is that you want to work there in that particular department........Good luck and let me know how it goes!!

Hello all,

congrats to those who are working at piedmont now. I have questions to those that are working there. I will be starting in a few weeks as a tech while finishing up nursing school at Mercer.

Do you know what the tech/ pt ratio is?

How did the other nurses treat you?

Any advice about starting to work there?

Thank you!!

Has anyone applied to Piedmonts RN Residency program for Fall 2010? Any call backs yet? Because mu application still says "forwarded to manager " for almost 2 weeks now...

Has anyone received a job offer for the CV residency program? I interviewed on Sept. 2nd but I haven't heard anything back yet.

I was scheduled to interview on September 9th for the CV Residency but they called me the morning of to cancel the interview because all of the positions had been filled - kind of shocking that an HR department would do something like that but hey, what could I do? I guess this means that they have made their decisions, hopefully they'll let you know either way! The woman I spoke with told me that they would be opening ALL of the residency programs within the next month or so, just for everyone's information!

Thanks for the info...i recently applied for their residency program as well...been very hard trying to find a job....can't even find a job at a nursing home...God please let me continue to be patient...

I received an email stating that Piedmont will not offer me the position in the CV program. However, I accepted a position at an outpatient clinic within Emory Healthcare. I start next week. I graduated in May. It took 4 months, 5 interviews for me to land a job.

Don't get discouraged. Apply everywhere. Don't just limit your search to only hospitals. Something will come up. Good luck.

Well they didn't even call me..I actually had to look at my application status and after a month it said "filled by another applicant...I've been looking since May it's so discouraging...I don't want my four years to go in vain..I sacrificed so much graduate in 4 yrs...good luck to you all...I'm still hunting

God bless
