Welcome to the site
Moved to the International forum. Title changed as not applying for NCLEX but licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is part of the process.
Please take the time to check out the forum especially sticky titled Primer to working in the US. Also all information can be found on the Illinois board of nursing website just meet criteria for foreign trained nurse

There is no such thing as an application for the NCLEX exam that you are sending in for licensure to Illinois. There is actually no mention of that exam anywhere on the application. You need approval from them to be able to sit for the exam. And the exam is just the final step in the licensing process, not the only one.
There are already several threads here that have all of the details about applying to Illinois and the steps that need to be followed. Please be aware that IL requires that you have completed the CES before they will even look at your application.
Am going to close this thread since no reason to list all of the steps here when they are already in other threads here specific to working in that state.
