APPLYING FOR PR in Canada

Hi, I am an IEN and i am here in CANADA under student visa. I came through an agency in INDIA. During that time when i submitted the student visa application form, the agency advised me not to mention that i was working at that time, so i did so. so i have 3 1/2 years of experience in 2 different hospitals, but my file in embassy mentions only about two and half years experience. so here my problem is, now i am planning to apply for PR, but i have only 65 points. and i am lacking two points. i don't know what to do, because i don't have any other option to get 2 more points, as i have got my maximum points for IELTS(Speaking-7, writing-6.5 listening-8.5 and reading 8.5), or else getting married, which is not practically possible for next 1 year.so is it possible for me to provide the embassy with necessary documents that i have 31/2 years of experience? also i have got a job offfer from an employer in alberta as a graduate nurse, it is a temporary part time position with my co-op work permit as am doing my CRNE prep course.

so is it possible to apply with an arranged employment option? will temporary part time job is considered as an arranged employment? if it is possible i can get 10 points, so please someone can provide the information i need, or can someone tell any other option for me please.

Moved to the Canadian Nurses forum to encourage responses.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Actually moved to the International forum as nothing to do with Canadian nursing

For PR you have to list all information required and they will ask for all employment history. Lying to them will not go down well. Generally for PR you need I believe full time employment for the skilled route if applying once in Canada. Have you actually read the CIC website? If not I suggest you start there

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Also to add the agency was wrong in advising you not to complete all relevant information because this may have an impact on your application as there will be a file somewhere. You may want to consider chatting to an approved immigration lawyer and discuss this with them

Work for your nursing license, I understand that you'll have additional 10 points in "factor 5" if you did.:)
