Applying for Chiropratic Screener Position

Right now I am currently unemployed and in the middle of college for my degree in graphics design. I have just put in my application for Chiropractic screener for a firm here in town. Below is a copy of the ad. I was wondering if my not going to school for medicine would prevent me from getting the job. I explained in my application that I am interested in medicine and was considering either EMS or ANesthesiaology before deciding on graphics design. Also, could someone explain some of things that I should be ready for in this type of a position? They make it sound easy, so I am not really afraid or nervous about it, but I would like some more information about it.

Sounds like a sales position to me- some sort of gimmick set up in a mall to convince people that they need to see a chiropractor.

I'd say need good communication skills, ability to establish raport, friendly out going nature. Flexibility expecially where schedule is concerned. Some sales experience would be good. Self starter.

Medicine has nothing to do with this. Chiropractics and Medicine are two different beasts.

My thoughts exactly. And this also has nothing to do with a nurses job.Nurses don't work for chiropractors. Did you think we did?

All I knew was that it sounded like a medical-type job and that nurses were medical people. Really did not know lol. IF it is not that difficult and they really pay 8.00/hr for 20-25 hrs a week I would not mind doing it at all. I am out of work right now, and need a job.
