Excited and nervous @ the same time! How many others out there applying for the lpn program @ charity son?

I'm late to this post and new to all nurses. I'm also applying to CSN for lpn. I'm so nervous. I took nutrition this semester at Nunez so far I have an A. I hope I can get in for Fall 2014. I'm also enrolled in DMTP 101 for summer. Good luck to you! Have you taken DMTP?

I also applied! Turned in my application yesterday. We have to wait to hear anything until around the middle of July, right?

I turned in my application on today. When I talked to Ms Wilson a few weeks ago, she said it would take 3 weeks to get a decision, and they would notify us by email. But today the lady at the desk told me mid July! That's such a long wait to say school starts in august.

That's what I was saying! Hopefully it'll be mid June instead! Maybe July is the latest time frame.

Yes I did, I took it fall 2013. Did you take it yet? Are you wanting to do RN after?

No I'm taking it this summer. My profile score is at a 70 without it. I'm a little nervous. There wasn't that many people turning in apps when I went.

Gotcha! Well hopefully they'll see that! You should be fine! Yeah I know there was no one when I went so hopefully there aren't. So is there an option to go straight into RN bridging once LPN is completed or is it just only the minimum of working for one year as an LPN?

PN graduates don't have to work the one year requirement! That's the advantage of going to charity for lpn. Which is great. I hope we find out before July. I know there is a few things we have to get done. I also need to arrange my schedule at work. Hopefully we'll find out around June 17-19 like the previous classes!

Okay that's what I heard just was to sure if it was totally true! Good to know. Yes I know! I've heard the first semester was Monday, Wednesday, Friday from friends who are in it currently so that's what I arranged with my work. So hopefully that is what it'll be! Haha. Yeah I am going to go crazy waiting!! I wonder how soon orientation will be after we find out if we are in or not.
