applying for charity son for pn fall 2014

Excited and nervous @ the same time! How many others out there applying for the lpn program @ charity son?

Hi onedaysoon! I'm anxious also. I called the school Monday and the lady told me we would hear something in mid July. She also said Ms Wilson was working on them. But I have a good feeling next week we would hear something. There are 2 sites for the fall so she has to view all of the applications. The schedule during the fall will be Mondays & Fridays from 8/18-10/03. Then MWF 10/08-12/10. In the spring starts 5 days a week. What is your profile score?

Hey upcomingnurse2015!!! Thanks for the info, I sure hope they call before mid July. I check my email like every 2 seconds, but anyway I'm one of those students that did not get accepted to the RN program, so all of my prerequisite are done for both. If I calculated right I should have a 105 profile score. The reason I'm so nervouse is because i took all the a&p classes sometime ago and I'm hoping that I make it within the time frame and not have take any classes over.

Hi, 1daysoon_! Omg...a profile of 105 will, that's awesome. I don't believe you will have any problems getting in. I have a 85 and my nerves are bad lol... The last few years the prospective students have found out around the 17th of June, hopefully we will too. Best wishes

Hey 1daysoon! With a profile score like that you are a lock! I'm at a 70 due to my nutrition I took at Nunez this semester not being accepted. I'm enrolled in medical nutrition for summer. It's going great so far. Just waiting on my acceptance email. Lol hopefully next week.

Hey thanks libit191 and upcomingnurse2015...

After being denied to the RN program I got a little, well very discouraged. I even went to nunez also and took their nutrition In hopes of speeding things up only to find out Delgado doesn't accept it and I kinda see why. I do want to continue on to the RN program but it is what it is. I've learned you just got to have patience (pray a lot) and when it's your time it will be the right time no matter what you go through to get there.... I can't wait to meet you guys at orientation!!!! (Gotta stay positive)
