Applying to CCBC LPN after RN

Hi All!

I was unfortunately just wait listed for CCBC Catonsville Fall '19 RN program. I wanted to be proactive and apply to CCBC Essex Fall '19 LPN program before the deadline for that program. I know it is not permitted to apply to multiple nursing programs at the same campus and start date, but has anyone ever had success with applying to both programs at different campuses?

I get aid but it’s up to the school to allow you to have the money that’s entitled to you. CCBC as a whole does not pay for “continuing education classes” such as LPN. So, even if you change anything in fasfa... it’s the school not them...

Honesty, I came across a lot of people that don’t know their job in the financial aid office and I am unsure of what could be true. Whatever happens God will make a way.

Once again, please share anything you know... you guys been a great help.

Shakira, yeah! I've been having a hard time dealing my job( l work with an agency as a Cna) and I'm still freaking out because l need to get a stable job before l start. The program will be intense and l can only imagine looking for a job while in the program..

Intrastaff...try them

they are under Hopkins but they are an agency. Flexible enough for school and work.

I work as a tech because they get paid more.

I wonder can you still get the a loan to pay for the classes if you are eligible for aid.

Yes, you can still get a loan. I don't think they'll make a big deal out of it since you'll pay it back anyway.

Hey guys! Just got off the phone with Berry Anderson from financial aid at Dundalk and he said the LPN was covered. He was positive in his response so..??‍♀️ I’m guessing whoever would need assistance they will get it some way. I hope this helps.

Hey guys! I was just pulled off of the waiting list for the RN program at Catonsville, so I would imagine other acceptance would come out this week as well. I'm wishing you all of the best!!!
