Applying to CCBC LPN after RN

Hi All!

I was unfortunately just wait listed for CCBC Catonsville Fall '19 RN program. I wanted to be proactive and apply to CCBC Essex Fall '19 LPN program before the deadline for that program. I know it is not permitted to apply to multiple nursing programs at the same campus and start date, but has anyone ever had success with applying to both programs at different campuses?

Hello, the LPN is only on the Dundalk campus for CCBC. Just wanted to make sure you know that.

I also applied for the fall essex day RN program but was not accepted mostly because l was still taking micro and anatomy 2. I ended up applying for the LPN program starting June 3rd.

Awesome! I didn't even know they had a program that began that soon. Is that still CCBC Dundalk? Good luck to you!

I didn't know either until they sent out emails. Since l was not accepted, the email said that l can apply for lpn starting June 3. I didn't give it a thought l went to dundalk and talked to the lpn advisor there. It's a new program that they are trying out. She said that they will only take 15 students as cohorts just to see how it works out.

Oh wow! Did you already have orientation? I'm interested to see how everything works out.

Wow! I didn’t know about the LPN starting June 3. How do they even determine if you start that soon? I was at ccbc Essex RN program and failed out. Now, I am applying for their LPN. Just waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully the wait is not too long.

Yeah, it's a new program. I got accepted, getting ready to start in 2 weeks.
