when to apply

In Fall semester I will take Microbiology and English, in Spring semester I will take Child Development Psychology and Anthropology. I will be done with all pre reqs once I finish spring semester. Do I apply for California State Universities in October or should I wait another semester? When should I take the TEAS? Thank you :)

I personally do not know anything about California programs, but I wanted to mention something to you. If I were you I would check with the program/programs of your choice to see what the minimum TEAS V score is (if there is one), and also check to see if you can take it multiple times, if so how long you have to wait between times. Good luck.

Contact the schools where you want to apply. You need hard facts not a message board.

I suggest you wait till after spring semester to get into the spring of 2017. Take the Teas before you apply into the actual nursing program. So most likely during the summer after your last classes or even before your classes end, you can sign up for the Teas and use the summer to study for it and get a high score. Make sure to schedule ahead of time since spots fill up quickly (well, in my area that is). CSU nursing is very impacted so every point counts and plus, less people apply for the spring so you have more chances ~ I'm gonna be done this fall so I'm gonna apply and try to get into fall of 2016. Whoever accepts me first, I'm gonna just pack my bags for them!!
