Applied to UT, Baylor and TCU 2018 DNP-A

Not sure if there is already a topic created for this but has anyone else applied to any of these schools for 2018 admission?

TCU is my number one school choice. I pray I get accepted this year! Did you apply to all three?

Yes applied to all 3 of them. Fingers crossed for interviews we will see.

I applies to all three as well. TCU had 215+ applicants this year. Holy crap!

UT doesnt have their total applicants final number yet, but they will interview 80 and accept 20-25. Interviews take place during the last two weeks of September, and invitations are sent out in late July.

Baylor had 100+ applicants; they will interview 40-50 and accept 16. In case anybody likes to know the odds.

I applied UT. Fingers crossed for interview.

GRE: V 154, Q 161

ICU: 2.5 yrs experience (by May 2018)

I applied to all four Texas schools. Baylor, UTHSC, TCU, Wesleyan

3 years SICU experience

3.8 GPA

307 GRE

CCRN, ACLS, PALS certified

Got first "no interview" from TCU :(

Staying hopeful about the others

Is this a glitch with TCU? The stats of the people they are rejecting are great. Happy I decided not to apply. My little feelings would have been hurt. Lol.

I got my No from TCU today as well, and my atats arent quite as good as Catmom's. I wonder what they are looking for.

I feel that it is more than just STATs and numbers. I know all too well the pain of the first rejection. Keep your head up. I got interviews on the next two applications I put in.
