Applications for Spring 2015

Hello guys, I am new to the site. I have applied for Spring 2015. Any thoughts on what the "cutoff" profile score will be? I have a 75, and this is my first time applying.. I have my fingers crossed, I have never wanted something so badly in my life. The lady I spoke with today while dropping off my application said it has been very slow.. I wonder how many applicants are applying?

Any info/help will be great!

Hi,

I applied for Spring 2015, also. I'm curious. What do you mean by profile score?

I also want this really badly and hate the idea of waiting now for 6-8 weeks or longer to find out if I made it. What is your school's last date to apply? Ours was this past Friday, 08/08. Now the wait... How long do you have to wait?

@Beginning15 The school I applied for decides whether or not you get in by a profile score. Basically, your GPA, HESI, previous degrees, academic hardiness, etc counts for so many points. You add them up and it gives you the profile score. So, the school will have a "cutoff" score and it will determine whether or not you get in. The last day to apply is the 15th (Friday) And we should find out our status mid-October, which is going to KILL me!! LOL I can't wait! Best wishes to you (:

Hey Kristen,

Ok, I get it. Actually my school does the same thing. We fill out a "score sheet" with so many points for prereq grades, HESI, GPA, etc. You have to make a minimum score to apply. This waiting, if nothing else, will be a lesson in patience, lol. Best wishes to you, too! Let me know what you find out.

At my school, entrance is based entirely on when you completed your prerequisites, your overall GPA, and the GPA on just the sciences (A&P 1 and 2, Microbiology). My application is in, and the advisor told me that I have a "very good shot" at getting in. Acceptance letters go out mid-October, so I will be stalking the mailman that month!

Sizzline - good luck! It sounds like you will get good news! My school sends notifications by email. Y'all will be stalking the mailman, and I'll be obsessively checking my email, lol. I going to be so scared to open that email! I will admit, August is flying by, but it seems like the end of September is forever away.
