Application Process for Chamberlain Sacramento

Hi there

I don't think the Ws on your transcript would affect you negatively during the decision process. They accept straight out of high school students with zero college units or credits to transfer however they might want you to take it there... Might be a good excuse so they can have another class you have to pay for. Mind you, it is around $600 per credit. I suggest to try other colleges for a good year or two of applying and if nothing bites, go for Chamberlain as a back up. The school is so pricey, it's a big issue for me since they see me as a dependent and what parent wants to cosign and get into that financial burden when it should be my problem. I barely get FA. This school is about $80,000 when a cc ($10,000) or a uni. Reconsider your options. Private for profit schools should be a last resort. Either wait or go in debt paying the bare minimum monthly while interest builds during a 15-30 year payment plan which I see many nurses do on this site.. not a good idea unless you want to go bankrupt.

I thought about going to a cc but the wait time is 4 years and all of the state schools in my area are hard to get into. Everything is lottery based. I'm not worried about loans because I do see myself joining the military later, which they would help pay for my loans!

Hello, this is my first reply to a any topic, but I inquired there and currently talked to an advisor. She stated that if there are W's in your transcript you can explain why in front of the board interview. Because I have a whole semester of W's and I explained to her that I dropped out because I was leaving for bootcamp. So they just want to see progress.

I considered this my last resort too because of time, I am a mother of two little ones and I work full-time. Fortunately, I am also a Navy vet and using my G.I will be an upside to going to this school.

hi CCNstudent2019. I've read your posts as well as seen your IG. You stated somewhere you'd provide your honest opinion about the school and all I've seen is negative comments. Any positives? Also which location are you attending?

I have read your Instagram as well and you seem like one of the negative people other chamberlain students warn you to stay away from. If you hate the school so much, why do you continue going?
