Application Number CVS N.Y.

Hello ,
Does anybody knows how long it takes until they will give me an application number so I will be able to check my status online? I applied 3 weeks ago but they did not send me a letter or anything else. N.Y. BON ist fast -- I got a letter within 2 weeks and another one today with number and more information. I tried to call the CVS to make sure that they will send everything to N.Y. BON but that is hopeless anyway ( do they really answer any calls?).

Usually takes about three weeks until they get the letter into the mail........then you need to wait for the mailman to deliver it....NY BON isn't always that fast, you got lucky........... :)

Guess what!

I am lucky! Yes, I got my ID from N.Y. BON early and so I mailed to the CVS just to remind them that I need this ID to check my status online. But I know that it takes them forever to reply so I tried to call them. First day I was not successful but second day right away during lunch time . I really spoke to a real person there and she had to search for my papers . The letters which will be sending to my nursing school are ready to go and she gave me my ID number. Now I can send the VisaScreen application . I wanted the number to make sure that they will find the right file (We all know how important numbers are...).

So it seems to go right direction and hopefully the school and the license authority will fill out everything correctly.

Today I got the new types of questions for the NCLEX and they are much more difficult! Actually 50/50 does not work any more for the new one s .

Hi

I sent my visa screen application and my NY Bon application at the same time (actually visa screen first while waiting for US Dollar cheque from bank to pay NY Bon). Didn't even think about an ID number :uhoh21: . Hope I did right :rolleyes:

I think that this should not be a problem but I payed attention to this Visa Screen forms. I want them to use the same documents and my understanding is: They will find the file easier with an application ID but of course they should be able to finde your stuff as well. Therefor I have not send in the VisaScreen yet, but I will do this today. I tend to make something like this more complicated than it actually is -- I always worry about forms ...

There is no reason that anyone needs to wait for the CGFNS number before sending their documents in................the number is only helpful to you to be able to check your file on-line or order any thing form them.............

Hi

My visa screen is ready for review but the verification program is waiting for stuff - license and transcript validation forms I do believe according to the cgfns site.

Then they just haven't updated their sites. They need the same information for both............ :)

Yes I thought that you has said something along those lines before (using the one lot of info from nursing school etc for both forms). fingers crossed now and patiently waiting :rolleyes:
