How's everyone doing with their Apps?

I applied to MHCC, CCC, PCC and Linfield.

It's my first year applying and I'm a nervous wreck!!!

How long does it usually take to hear whether or not you got an interview?

I was glad to see CCC changed their deadline to Feb 15th like the other OCNE schools-I think it'll make the waiting more bearable!

Anyone else want to share points to see how tight the competition is this year?

Other than Mt. Hood, I don't get too many discretionary points.

Heres what I *think* I have (figuring them myself):

MHCC-63 points

CCC-50 or 51 points depending on how they round up your gpa

PCC-54 points

Haven't gotten my letter yet, but only had 56 points. I think they expect that you will have some sort of medical experience, hopefully at one of their clinical sites. Did you apply anywhere else?

Kmd, they don't know the points for the cutoff until they get all the apps and know the pool they have to draw from. That being said I feel your pain, I have a prior bachelors, a 4.0, and 4 years of experience with direct patient care and I still got waitlisted last year at ccc.

I did the pcc essay but it wasn't good enough

I think my essay was not good either. I did not write two pages. When was your essay? I had it today.

i have a lot of cna experience I should of say a lot more related to that. I think my essay was too basic

Kuku, my essay was on Monday with 61 points . I only use page and a half

Monasol, I had 59 points, but i am not sure now b/c of this essay. I tried to relate little to my CNA work.
