Hi fellow applicants for 2010!!

I wanted to start a thread for all of us who are applying to various nursing schools in the area for 2010. I have applied to five different places: OHSU-Monmouth, University of Portland, Portland Community College, The University of Washington, and Boise State University. I wanted to cover myself and hopefully ensure that I would get in somewhere. I have a really good GPA and experience as an EMT-Basic so I am hoping that that will help my chances.

Just waiting it out until they send out notifications.....I just want to hear back!!! :banghead:

My good friend got her letter today too, which makes me a little sad because she won't be going to PCC with me. :( But maybe now you will get my best study buddy!!

Perhaps you could talk to your friend and convince her that PCC is a better idea :D I just got stuck on the alternate list @ CCC~

Trust me I have been trying to talk her into going to PCC but Clackamas is much closer to her and she has had her mind set on it for some time. There won't be any talking her out of it. On the bright side she is giving up her seat to PCe saitiC, so if you are on the waiting list there the list is about to start moving!!

Larisa, I'm so sorry to hear your news. Do you have another choice, or will you wait out the year, gain some volunteer experience, redo pre-reqs... ?

General post to everyone. Congratulations on your acceptances and alternate position. If you did not get accepted this year please keep trying it takes determination/perseverance and you will meet your goal. Good luck everyone!:)

Just an update on my status. I got my CCC acceptances letter today and decided to decline, so someone will be receiving an acceptances letter sometime soon. I decided to pick OHSU after receiving another scholarship today. :yeah::yeah::yeah:

Congrats on OHSU!! Which campus will you be attending? I'll be on the Portland campus. I'm still anxiously awaiting to hear about scholarships, I'm glad to hear they are finally getting back to people. Congrats on your scholarship!! :yeah:
