I wanted to start a thread for all of us who are applying to various nursing schools in the area for 2010. I have applied to five different places: OHSU-Monmouth, University of Portland, Portland Community College, The University of Washington, and Boise State University. I wanted to cover myself and hopefully ensure that I would get in somewhere. I have a really good GPA and experience as an EMT-Basic so I am hoping that that will help my chances.
Just waiting it out until they send out notifications.....I just want to hear back!!!
Nice larisa. I'm interviewing tommorow for ccc as well, and I just went out and blew way too much coin on a cheap suit... Guess I'll be eating out of dumpsters till the next paycheck but I'll look good doing it. Good Luck on your interview tommorow, what time is it at?
I wrote a proctored essay for OHSU, and the 30 minutes we got at CCC started my panic attack. I guess there must be a reason for such a small amount of time, maybe to see if you can chart under pressure:yeah:?
Thank you, PDX. You were sitting too far away to notice, and I think that people who interviewed us did notice it.
I can offer you some feedback too. I was watching the ladies the whole time, and you seem to evoke positive reaction from them. I think they were entertained, or I should say, engaged by you.
