Hello everyone! Today I attended the orientation session for the Spring 2018 semester at LAC -CONAH (Los Angeles County - College Of Nursing and Allied Health. Lots of good info/tips were given. I have submitted my application already. This time around, they are taking applications online. I previously applied to the Fall 2017 semester, but did not make it in because one of my transcripts arrived late. Hopefully, I will make it in this second time. Anyone else out there who is applying to next year's generic session? How about the bridge (LVN to RN) program? I took the ATI TEAS with them this year, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Here goes the long-waiting-to-hear-if-I-make-it-in all over again! Gotta love it
Someone from the previous info session asked what was the highest GPA that they have seen in the program. The director (I think) said it was something like a 3.6 GPA. This makes me worry because I plan on applying to psych NP programs in the future so GPA would be very important for me. Is it unusual for County grads to graduate with a 3.5+ GPA? Hopefully someone can chime in.
Hi everyone! I got in!! I Have 79 points. 3.8 something General GPA, phi: A, Anat: A , Micro: B and 70 in the teas (kind of bad). This info is for whoever is trying to figure it out if they can make it (I know how is that!). Please if you got in with less that 79 points, leave your stats for other prospective students.
Congratulations to everyone!!!! It's so exciting! and for you out there PLEASE! don't give up!
I have 79 points. Did you get in? How many points do you have?
yeah, sorry i totally overlooked your stats up there lol Im pretty sure i did not. I haven't heard from them at all though but based on post from previous semesters, it does not look so hot for me. Ill reapply next semester :) Was this your first time applying?

Last time I checked it was still accessible. After logging in, click on documents. I just did it earlier today.
