I was wondering if there is anything about cells on the TEAS version 4?? Anything about labeling the parts or knowing certain information about cells?? If anyone has ANY info or advice for the TEAS let me know!
Thanks!

If I remember correctly there was a little bit of cell theory, but nothing too complicated. You can try Biology4kids.com. It covers all the basics of cells.

Hi I just took the Teas V this morning, there was a question about cell respiration on there, also the rock questions are still there! There are some posts that stated there are no longer questions on rocks, and algae and cyanobacteria there is. There is quite a bit of basic chemistry also.

The first time I took the TEAS 4 just to see what it was like. I got a 67. That night, after dinner, I went through the TEAS study manual and made notes. I wish that I had done that right after taking the test
December 30th I will be retaking the TEAS 4 test. I have been studying and have paid to take the TEAS online practice tests. I have also taken some basic math classes to improve my math.
Any study ideas that you can I offer, I would be very appreciative, especially in chemistry. I had a terrible chemistry instructor. Stoichiometry made no sense to me at all.
My counselor suggested that 80s would be a "nice to see" score on the TEAS.
I hope that you did well on your test. :)
Thatsfunny you say that because I did exactly that! believe 80 is eh minimum score to apply for ns. my score is 78!!!!!!!! I did well on all the parts of the test EXCEPT sentence structure which I cannot believe becasue Igot 100's in the grammar, unreal. I think it is because I thought I was a know it all and just whizzed through that part ugh.
The sciences were not that bad for me. I have a pdf for a nursng school entrance manual I can email you, I reviewed it and almost all of the science part was on there. Definately review your basic math skills and algebra. Lots of word problems, pertaining to graphs and such. Straight forward though. Chemstry principles are on there i.e, protons, shells, positive charges. A quesion about what makes waterthe universal solvent is on there(its polarity is the A) also, what do plant and animal cells have in common
sorry about the typos my keys are sticking on my laptop for some weird reason
ok the site is rapidshare.com search nursing exam and the pdf will be there. That whole science section was on there, there was even a couple questions from the practice tests on there. I literally reviewed 2 days prior and got an 86 on the science sections my weaknsses were math and sentence structure(so weird) as I said.
Good Luck

Wow- rocks on the version v? I'm curious what type of questions they ask about rocks.. is it like identifying volcanic rocks as igneous or sandstone as sedimentary and stuff of that nature or are they more specific?
