  1. Hey there! I applied last semester as well for the part time track and was not selected. I will be applying again this semester. I have not submitted yet and am debating on whether to do part time or full time this time around. Jessica
  2. I know there a few of us that didn't make it into the 2011 Spring program at CSN. I applied with 26 points for the part time track, I knew it was a long shot but still gave it a try (unsuccessfully). What are you going to do to increase your chances to get in? The cut off was 27 for fulltime I read. Have you taken all your pre-req? Anyway I just thought we could share ideas and give support. I couldn't help but feel very sad that I didn't make it. Jessica
  3. I applied with 26pts. I didn't know I could do that with the classes! Now that puts a smile on my face. I am going to look into that right now. Thanks so much! Good luck and enjoy the program :) Jessica
  4. Jessel, I feel your pain. I thought perhaps I could at least be placed on the "runner up list". But I guess not I feel really sad because my classes are due to expire next yr and I would hate to have to retake A&P I again! Jessica
  5. Congrats to all of you :) I keep starring at my phone but of course no call Jessica
  6. I called the Health Science office today also and was told the same thing! She said it could be until next week before we find out I hope it doesn't take that long. Even though I "know" I won't be getting in I still have some hope I hope they are wrong and the calls do start tomorrow! Jessica
  7. Math 100B is one of the required courses or Math 120. This is what the sheet says for the requirement: MATH 100B or Math 120 (or higher) except Math 122 &123 So you are good :) GL, Jessica
  8. Good luck to all of you! Jess
  9. I am completely discouraged . I have been reading all the posts about the part time track and it seems that the minimum points are 28 or so. I applied with 26. I wanted to apply for the full time but thought it would be best for my family to do part time. Seems like I won't be getting in Jess
  10. When do you guys think we start hearing who got in? I am almost sure I won't be getting in but I am still anxious for this whole waiting process to pass. Jess
  11. I was told end of October Long wait! Jessica
  12. Hello everyone! I just turned in my application this morning. I applied with 26pts. Hopefully we all get accepted! Keeping our fingers crossed :) Jessica
  13. I didn't have any questions on mitosis. Jessica
  14. I just took the TEAS this morning Jessica
  15. The one here in Las Vegas is a 2yr program (including the pre-req). There are no pre-req's required to be admitted. You have to take an exam, an interview, and write an essay. If you do well on all three then you will meet with a financial aid person. the program here is about $45K for an ADN. They do say that they take transfer credits which could lower the cost, however, they have yet to transfer credits for students because their course is not the same as the ones offered at other colleges. At least that is what they said at the Las Vegas one last week. They advised us that it is almost impossible to work during their program because you have to be available. They don't work around your schedule so you can't have any other responsibilities. Other than that I think that is all the info they gave us. Glad to answer any other questions you might have. Good Luck, Jessica
