I've literally applied to more than a hundred different places. 90%of those places I actually went in person and gave my resume. Does anyone know anywhere in CT that are hiring new grad LPNs?

Thanks believe me I even tried a bunch of those also. I even went to open houses.. Still they want experience or they're going to hold on to my application until something comes up.

I also put in applications for those also... Hopefully I do hear something back

I'm also in Texas. Have you tried private duty nursing? I put in 33 apps before I finally got a call. Took over 6 months to get a job. Good luck!

I hated hearing what I am about to tell you when I was looking for a job, but I am going to tell you anyway because it is true. I had a hard time finding a job as a new grad and people would tell me to keep my head up, keep looking, and someplace somewhere will be willing to give me a chance. I HATED hearing that because I wasn't getting any chances yet. I promise though that all it takes is to get that foot in the door. It might take a while, but there is somewhere out there that will give new grads a chance. I don't know what the job market is in CT, but you might want to look at out of the box type places. Check into clinics, prisons, or school systems.

Florida hodpitals don't hire lpns. Just nursing homes

In my area places that hire LPNs are physician offices, home health/hospices, and nursing homes. But we have several nursing schools in the area (LPN, ADN and BSN) and all the places are saturated with potential applicants.

Are you in CT? and if so exactly what part of CT are you?

I pray that it doesn't take that long for me, no offense. It's discouraging but I'm still going.

It's all discouraging but I'm going to keep on grinding.
