has anyone worked as a CARE manager for Senior Bridge?

I got an email from a recruiter for care manager positions with Senior Bridge in my area. I've looked at their website & I think it's something I may be interested in. It's not home health care per se, it is more interviewing and documentation. The point is to prevent hospital re-admissions.

Just wondering if anyone can share personal experience with this kind of thing. Thanks!

I do the same thing and love it to!! I ding it very rewarding !!

Sorry for typos! Meant to say I love it too and find it very rewarding !![emoji4]

Hi there. I've been reading the posts in this thread and was just wondering how do you schedule your vacation since you have to visit your members per week? Do you ask or notify humana for approval?

and your members as well? Thank you very much.

Since you work for yourself you just email your manager and tell your members that you won't be working a certain week.

Thank you for the reply. I too am thinking about joining the care manager network but have not decided yet. Can I ask you jlminnc, LPN? Do you keep your members for a long time or do you get new ones weekly? Thanks again.

I prefer to take members in the long term in home program , but there are 3 different programs to choose from

I appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello, jlminnc! I sent you a PM the other day:)

Indigo.. I just PM'd you back

Jlminnc.... Could you pm me please?

I have been following this thread for quite some time now, and am hoping to join you all as a Humana Independent Contractor Care Manager R.N. I filled out the information on their website, requesting more information about joining their network as an independent contractor, but haven't heard anything. How long does it usually take to get a response? Thanks for any information.
