I was wounder if anyone can help me know what to expect for the hiring process at Flagler hospital in St augustine...mainly the hiring test... not sure what to study been out of school for a year.

just wondering if u took the test yet because i too have to take it soon and i have no idea what to expect. just like you i have been out of school for a year now and am kinda nervous about it.

I was wondering the same thing. I will be taking the test soon. Any hints or tips on what to study on?

I took it today, it was nclex style and I took the med/surg test. It was about as hard as the nclex, I thought although thankfully there was some easy questions thrown in. I find out tomorrow if I passed. You get to take it again if you fail, hopefully it wont count against you. I also took the pharmacology quiz, I thought it was just gonna be math but it also had specific med type questions like on the nclex, and b4 i went i forgot to study the math about figuring out how many gtts/min crap. ughh i think i got those right though. I have been out of school for 2 years and working in peds home health so I really haven't used any of this stuff. Good Luck with the test and hope we will be working together soon.

Is this an employment exam?

I am still job hunting on hospitals here in Daytona, or Deland, and I am not aware that there will be

an exam once we applied for jobs.

Hope to hear any idea from you guys who took this.

Thanks.

well i actually failed the med/surg part of the exam the first time i took it :(, and passed it a week later. I passed the pharmacology the 1st time. they just changed the rules so that you can retake any exams as many times until you pass, I guess b/c so many people weren't passing, and there was a 2 time limit before. I finished all of my testing like a week ago but no calls yet and they already filled one position I applied for. I applied to pretty much everything they have so hopefully someone will call soon

Bumping this thread because I just got an email to call about the hiring process. I can't talk to anyone until Monday, but came on here to see what the process was. I guess I better start brushing up on a few things. Anyone have anymore recent input?
